Chantal’s LUXE surprise

Geneva Off 6th was honored to help Chantal plan the ultimate birthday surprise for her husband, Mac. First and foremost, CUTEST COUPLE EVER! Chantal and Mac have been married for ten years and the love between the two was truly felt. Based on preferences, Geneva Off 6th created a beautiful oasis for the couple to enjoy.

Ambiance

Geneva Off 6th customized the couple’s yellow and red theme to honor Mac’s service as a retired Marine and to delight his love for water, hosted at a park near the seaside. One word… stunning! The location boasts a Ferris wheel, observatory, aquarium, hotel, and so much more. Due to a festival at the park, I set up the picnic in a secluded area surrounded by trees. The use of velvet and glass vases lining the table added such elegance. I chose a combination of red roses and daisies with a hint of yellow daisies to give the design a pop. To pay homage to Mac’s southern flare, I added faux cowhide, and natural elements such as utensils with wooden handles, and brown rattan chargers. Personal touches included Chantal’s love letter that was calligraphed by a calligraphy artist in France, family photos, mini vodka, and a Cuban cigar.

The Vibes

There was something incredibly special and calming about this picnic. The location, ambiance, saxophonist, and artist were a perfect combo that yielded a moment of pure bliss. The couple enjoyed a twenty-minute set by Migumi-san, who’s an amazing saxophonist. She opened with the couple’s favorite song followed by tunes from Alicia Keys and Bruno Mars. Thereafter, the couple enjoyed an art lesson by the amazing, Wynter K. The couple LOVES Christmas (and inspired me to set up my tree this upcoming weekend. LOL!), and Wynter combined all of Chantal’s desired elements: love, Christmas, and the beach. The couple painted a Christmas themed painting that encompassed a Christmas tree and ornament with a beach scene. The beach scene included a sunset, palm trees, and stringed lights. The couple did an amazing job!

The Food

The couple enjoyed Go6’s standard and vegetarian boxes. There’s no box alike because each box is artistically designed and features seasonal, locally sourced and imported items. From Italian Balck Truffle, red dragon fruit, to truffle hummus, and smoked garlic tofu the couple enjoyed many tasty bites. Trying something new, Geneva Off 6th offered a selection of chilled drinks the couple could enjoy throughout the picnic. Lastly, the couple enjoyed Katie’s Cake Pops for dessert. For Mac’s love of flowers, Katie created a bouquet, and Geneva added extra roses to it. It turned out so beautifully.

Chantal’s Luxe Surprise was truly something special and I can’t wait to create another beautiful moment for the two. Happiest day, Mac!
